Regional Forum on Sustainable Development

On June 5–6, the Regional Forum on Sustainable Development was held in Tbilisi, an annual event that hosts both local and international speakers.

One of the key topics of discussion was Georgia’s 8,000-year-old winemaking tradition and its role in the country’s development.

Speakers of the session included:

Aleksandre Ebralidze – Commercial Director of Rtvelisi

Levan Mekhuzla – Chairman of the National Wine Agency of Georgia

Giorgi Aladashvili – State Representative of the Kakheti Region

The forum once again emphasized the importance of Georgian winemaking as both a cultural heritage and an economic asset.
